Breckenridge is located two hours from the Denver International Airport with easy access from I-70. With hundreds of daily direct flights into Denver International Airport and being in close proximity to two regional airports, enjoying a weekend visit to the slopes in Breckenridge or a weeklong visit is easy.

From Denver International Airport (DEN)

Breckenridge is 104 miles (166km) from Denver International Airport.

  • Take Interstate 70 west to exit 203.
  • Continue south on HWY 9 to Breckenridge.
From Eagle County Regional Airport

Breckenridge is approximately 63 miles (102km) from Eagle Airport.

  • Take Interstate 70 east to Frisco (exit 203).
  • Turn right onto HWY 9.
  • Go south 9 miles to Breckenridge.
From Colorado Springs Airport (COS)

Breckenridge is 110 miles (178km) from Colorado Springs Airport.

  • Take HWY 24 west.
  • At Hartsel, take HWY 9 north.
  • Travel approximately 33 miles to Breckenridge.

 

Getting Around

Breckenridge Town — the Breck Free Ride

The Free Ride shuttle offers routes through Breckenridge connecting the resort’s base areas and free parking lots. The shuttle also runs the perimeter of town, stops at the Ice Rink, City Market, Recreation Center, Village and Four O’ Clock Roads, Columbine and Broken Lance Drive and Peak 9.

Travelling to nearby towns and resorts — The Summit Stage

The Summit Stage is a free in-county transportation service that connects Breckenridge with the neighboring resorts of Keystone and Copper Mountain as well as the towns of Silverthorne, Frisco and Dillon. This free service runs continually from 6:00 AM to 11:00 PM year-round.
